Jericho-Ziggler: Mirrored rivals
A lot like the other
"If you want to find the real competition, just look in the mirror. After a while you'll see your rivals scrambling for second place." ― Criss Jami
Pink shirts, light-up jackets, big talk and rock star lifestyles: Though they may not see eye-to-eye on a great many things, it’s undeniable that Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler have an awful lot in common. From the way they look to the way they carry themselves both in and out of the ring, the two high-profile Superstars can be viewed as mirrored — though slightly warped — versions of each other.
While this makes them perfect foils in the ring, any good science fiction/time travel movie will tell you that "two versions of the same object can’t occupy the same space at the same time." Their distinct commonalities, therefore, raise many questions: Is WWE big enough for the "Ayatolla of Rock 'n' Rolla" and The Showoff to coexist? Or are these two destined to be at each other’s throats — perhaps with the shards of a warped and shattered mirror — for all time? Moreover, if Ziggler is to prove his elite status one day and lay claim to the title of “the best,” does he first have to beat "The Best in the World at What He Does"?
